Keyboard shortcuts
Mod below means ⌘ on macOS and Ctrl on Windows. Plumeo uses the same combos on both platforms.
Global shortcut
This is the one that matters most: press it anywhere, in any application, to enhance your current text selection. It works system-wide, even when Plumeo isn't the active window.
| Platform | Default combo |
|---|---|
| macOS | ⌘ + Shift + E |
| Windows | Ctrl + Shift + E |
To change it, open Plumeo, go to Settings → Shortcuts, and record a new combination. Plumeo re-registers it immediately, no restart needed.
In-app shortcuts
These work while a Plumeo window is focused.
| Combo | Action |
|---|---|
| Esc | Hide the Plumeo window |
| Mod + Enter | Replace the original text with the enhancement |
| Mod + Shift + C | Copy the enhancement to the clipboard |
| Mod + 1 | Go to Home |
| Mod + 2 | Go to History |
| Mod + , | Go to Settings |
Navigating History
The History view is fully keyboard-navigable once it has focus:
| Combo | Action |
|---|---|
| ↑ / ↓ | Move between history entries |
| ← / → | Switch between alternatives for the selected entry |
| Enter | Restore the selected entry |
